KINDNESS

The quality of being friendly, generous, and considerate.

We live in a cruel, cruel world. The internet can be a miraculous thing but it can also be the devil. I’ve watched how it rips relationships apart and can even turn your own best friend on you. Trust me. I know. It’s happened to me. How people can so easily compare themselves to others. They truly have no idea what those are going through and think their lives are perfect from the outside looking in. The lies we tell ourselves. We all have inner demons. ALL OF US. No one human being has a perfect life. We are all suffering some type of turmoil. Yet the internet can give off the feeling of LIVING THE GOOD LIFE. And it can make some of us envious and jealous. Wishing we had what they had. We all need to take a step back and just be kind. First and foremost be kind to yourself. Love the life you have. Love who you are as a person. And learn how to love one another. Learn to listen. Learn to truly see through all the bullshit and come together as a community to help those in need. Even those who portray the good life. Those are the ones with the deepest, darkest secrets.

Learn to love one another. Especially those who are the angriest. Those who choose to make your life hell. Those are the ones who need the most love. The next time someone is having a really bad day and is acting out in a cruel way. Smile at them. Hug them. Show them kindness. I promise you thats all they need.

I know I inherited this trait from my mother. If you have ever met her, you know exactly what I mean. Since I was little I have grown to see how my mother treated people. With such a kindness it warmed your heart. I don't think I have ever heard her say a bad thing about anybody!! Not even about a person who hurt her deeply. She is always graceful about anything negative that comes her way. I am truly blessed to have picked this up from her. And I'm so thankful that I have been able to pass this down to my children. You know the saying, "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it at all"? Well I live by that motto. I do not like confrontation and I will remove myself immediately from any conversation that heads down that path. Kindness comes for free. Sprinkle that shit everywhere!!! Why don't we do it more often? Treat others the way you want to be treated. It's pretty simple. Really it is.

Here is a quote I really love::
“To be rich in admiration and free from envy, to rejoice greatly in the good of others, to love with such generosity of heart that your love is still a dear possession in absence or unkindness - these are the gifts which money cannot buy. ” —Robert Louis Stevenson
